我从小就出生在上海的老城厢

I was born and raised in the old city area of Shanghai.

对湖心亭是有一种情结在此

So I’ve always had a special bond with Huxin Pavilion.

我奶奶那时候小的时候就在湖心亭喝茶

My grandmother used to have tea here when she was little.

回忆到真正的上海的感觉

It reminds me of what Shanghai truly feels like.

我来过上海两次

I have been to Shanghai two times before,

但一直没机会在湖心亭喝茶

but I never managed to have tea in this tea house.

这次感觉很特别

It is very special for me.

我们在历史上一共修缮过三次

There have been three restorations of this pavilion in its history.

这一次的话是第三次修缮

This is the third time it’s been restored.

从2023年一直到2025年

The work spanned from 2023 to 2025.

以前来到湖心亭的人大家都会觉得

Visitors to Huxin Pavilion in the past often felt that

湖心亭怎么感觉小小的 就很挤

it seemed quite small and cramped inside.

我们这次把上面的顶打开之后

This time, we opened up the top a little,

空间就不会很压抑

and the space no longer feels so confined.

我们的神兽

Our rooftop guardian beasts

从有亭子开始

have been here since the pavilion was first built.

就一直站在这里

They’ve stood here ever since.

它们有很多的破损

Many of them were in poor condition.

这次我们把很多的屋脊兽的状态

This time, we restored many of those roof ridge figures

全部做了还原

back to their original form.

这一张是文学巨匠巴金老师

This was the table where literary master Ba Jin

当年是坐的这张桌

used to sit.

他也在这张桌当中写过文章

He also wrote articles here.

伊丽莎白二世英女王就坐的这张桌

Queen Elizabeth II once sat at this table.

当时所有的其它的家具我们都有换新

We replaced all the other furniture at that time,

但是这两张桌我们没舍得

but we just couldn’t let go of these two tables.

所以我们就把它放回到家具厂

So we took them back to the furniture factory

重新打磨做了一个翻新

and had them carefully refinished.

这次也是希望让更多的人感受到

This time, we hope more people can experience

非遗的活态化

intangible heritage in a living, tangible way.

所有的茶品全部都是由

All the teas served here were handmade

各个名茶的非遗大师手工制作

by intangible heritage masters of China’s famous tea traditions.

这是我们的福鼎的白茶

Here’s our Fuding white tea.

选用了纯银的银壶软化水质

It’s brewed in a pure silver teapot, which helps soften the water.

它会让茶汤变得更加柔软和甘甜

This gives the tea a softer, sweeter taste.

我们有一个悬壶注水的过程

We use a high-pour technique,

用水的冲击力

so the force of the water

让茶香能够快速释放出来

brings out the tea’s aroma quickly.

这就是我们一个双非遗茶出品

That’s one of our Double Intangible Heritage teas.

It tastes so smooth.

We’ve paired it with a little tea snack.

我们的湖心亭的四十年配方

Made from Huxin Pavilion’s 40-year-old recipe,

没有变过的鹌鹑蛋

these quail eggs have remained unchanged.

Can you taste the tea flavor soaked in?

蛋黄有一点点小小的爆浆感

The yolk has a subtle, creamy burst.

它是很温和的

But it’s really mellow.

它能够成为经典也是四十年来

It’s been a classic for 40 years because

豫园湖心亭历经两年修缮

After two years of careful restoration,

七月焕新亮相

Huxin Pavilion in Yuyuan Garden reopened this July, fully refreshed.

两百多年间

For over two centuries,

“海上第一茶楼”湖心亭

Huxin Pavilion, known as “the First Tea House on the Sea”,

不仅是老城厢茶客品茗闲话的市井天地

has been a favorite spot where locals gather to sip and chat,

更是风雅之士的云集之处

and a hub for those drawn to culture and elegance.

双非遗茶

The "Double Intangible Heritage Tea"

指中国传统制茶技艺及其相关习俗

refers to both traditional Chinese tea-making techniques and related customs,

两项国家级非物质文化遗产相结合的统称

which is a combined term for two national-level intangible cultural heritages.
