International Channel Shanghai (ICS) is the only comprehensive variety TV Channel in the Chinese Mainland broadcasting in English and Mandarin Chinese. The professional team of ICS produces programs including news, documentary, feature, talk show, etc. The programs cover a wide range from current affairs, business to culture and fashion. ICS has proudly won a series of awards home and abroad, including Emmy Awards and the 17th Asian TV Awards for Cable and Satellite Channel for the year.

China's Challenges gives real insight into the difficulties and challenges that have arisen from China's soaring development and shows the efforts the Chinese government, as well as the entire society, have made to solve these problems. The series won the 68th Emmy Awards for Los Angeles Area.
